Nikos Nikolaides was born in Cyprus in 1884 He died at
the age of 72 in Cairo (1956). Despite the fact that he
travelled widely in the Middle East and in Europe, he
spent most of his lifetime in Cyprus, Athens, Alexandria
and Cairo. Self-taught in every aspect of his life and
times Nikolaides rose out as a multi-faceted
personality, known to the intellectual circles of the
start of the 20th century. His intellectual heritage is
great. It comprises of priceless theatre plays, works of
the plastic arts and of authorship. |
