Αιτωλικό Μεσολογγίου, 1914 - Αθήνα, 1988. Σπούδασε ζωγραφική και χαρακτική στην ΑΣΚΤ (1936 - 1940). Παρουσίασε το έργο της σε πάρα πολλές ατομικές και ομαδικές εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό: Βουδαπέστη, Πεκίνο, Στοκχόλμη, Κάιρο, Μπιενάλε χαρακτικής Λιουμπλιάνα 1956, 1959, 1961, 1963, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1971, 1973, 1975, 1977, Μπιενάλε Αλεξάνδρειας 1957 Βραβείο, Μπιενάλε Σαο Πάουλο 1957, Μόσχα κ.α. Έργα της βρίσκονται στην ΕΠΜΑΣ, Π.Δ. Αθηναίων, Ιωαννίνων, Ρόδου, στην Εθνική και Ιονική Τράπεζα κ.α.

Probably the foremost engraver in modern Greek art of the second half of the 20th century. She has participated in international exhibitions and biennales, like those of Alexandria, Sao Paolo, Tokyo and Leipzig, earning important distinctions. In 1996, her wide recognition increased greatly, thanks to her participation in the XXXIII Biennale of Venice and the distinction of the “Tamarind” international lithography award for “the great, fundamental issues of life which she illustrates” and her “ultimate artistic mastery” paired with “perceptive freedom”.

Katraki’s art comprises one of the most integrated and interesting artistic conceptions; her work extends continuously and consistently from the early 1940s to the mid 1980s. Starting out from wood engraving, in 1955 she crossed over to stone engraving - an original technique that offered her international recognition.
