Stella
Aggelidou was born in Nicosia. She studied at the School of Fine
Arts at the University of Bloomington at Indiana in the United
States (1988 - 1993), where she obtained her Bachelor and Master
of Arts in Painting and History of Art.
In 1989 she was an exchange student for one year at the
Universities of Syracuse and Clevelant Institute of Art in
Florence, Italy. She
also studied painting at the Escola de Artes Visuais of Rio de
Janeiro in Brazil (1995 - 1997).
She
worked as a Fine Arts teacher at Intercollege, the University of
Cyprus and the Higher Technological Institute in Nicosia.
She
has made four solo exhibitions and has participated in a number
of collective exhibitions in Cypurs and abroad.
Her works are found in the collections of: The
Presidential Palace, the Parliament of Cyprus, The National
Gallery of Cyprus, The Central Bank of Cyprus,
The Bank of Cyprus, the Popular Bank of Cyprus and in
many private collections.
