Ο Μιχάλης Γεωργάς γεννήθηκε στην Σύμη. Είναι
αυτοδίδακτος και την πρώτη του ατομική έκθεση έκανε στην
Αθήνα το 1969. 'Εχει παρουσιάσει έργα του σε ατομικές
και ομαδικές εκθέσεις τόσο στην Ελλάδα, όσο και στο
εξωτερικό. Υπέρμετρα ρεαλιστικό και συμβολικό, το έργο
του μεταδίδει τη μεταφυσική υφή της βυζαντινής
ζωγραφικής τεχνικής που ακολουθεί. |

Born at the Island of Symi
(Dodecanese), Michalis Georgas is a self-taught
painter. He had his first one-man exhibition in Athens
(1969) and has presented his work in solo and group
shows in Greece and abroad. Hyperrealist and symbolic
his work communicates the metaphysic texture of the
Byzantine iconography, whose techniques he embraces. He
lives and works in Athens. |
